More than any other thing, your attitude determines where you are in life, where you go in life, and how well you feel in your life. There are many ways to improve your attitude, from getting regular exercise, to eating right, to watching your finances so they don’t become a source of stress. But maybe the most important thing you can do is find the type of meditation that works for you.
Most people assume meditation means you sit in a yoga position chanting quietly to yourself or in absolute silence for some ridiculous amount of time. The reality is, meditation is getting your mind into a state of relaxation and that can happen in any number of ways. For many people, still meditation doesn’t work and active meditation is their path. Others find meditation in a simple activity that allows them to ‘check out’ from paying attention to the world around them for a time.
